1. Biobased Epoxy Plasticizer
This product has the same epoxy value, specific gravity, and flash point as ESBO, which means it can be used as a direct 1:1 replacement in most formulations.
For customers whose formulations include CPW (Chlorinated Paraffin Wax) or chlorinated methyl esters, we recommend conducting a production trial before large-scale use, as our lab tests were done without these additives.
Even if CPW and chlorinated esters are not present, every customer’s equipment and formulation can be different, so we always advise running trials to confirm performance.
2. Epoxy Plasticizer
This product has the same epoxy value as ESBO, but offers better plasticizing efficiency and lower viscosity, thanks to its smaller molecular weight.
It provides improved compatibility with PVC compared to ESBO.
However, since its flash point is lower and it is more volatile, it is not recommended for customers using more than 3 PHR of ESBO in their formulations.
Its low-temperature resistance is also weaker than ESBO, as it may form flocculates under cold conditions. Therefore, it is not suitable for use in low-temperature environments.

- For PVC paste resin applications, it can reduce or even eliminate the need for viscosity reducers.
- When used together with DOTP, it enhances plasticizing performance.
- For shoe sole production, its lower specific gravity makes the material lighter, an important benefit in footwear.
- It can also serve as a lightweight filler since its lower density provides greater volume at the same weight.
